  1. Elizabeth has 20 yrs of pastoral ministry experience with youth, kids, and adults in rural, suburban and urban contexts, with over a decade pastoring Jr. Highers and Preteens and their families at a large multi-site church.
  2. She is a midwestern farmer’s daughter. Her family raised pigs, corn and soybeans.
  3. She lives in Chicagoland with her husband Chris. They have a bernedoodle named Ernie, who has his own instagram @erniethebernie.   6. She loves traveling around the country speaking at Camps, Retreats, and Revivals. Elizabeth is a regular speaker at churches and conferences to teens and adult leaders alike.

She loves spending time with people around tables eating ice cream and telling and hearing stories and especially enjoys adventures with her husband Christopher, making up silly songs, laughing until her sides hurt with family and friends over her signature dessert- flaming peaches, or drinking great coffee while catching up with her favorite students and interns now scattered around the globe.
  9. She is ordained in the Church of the Nazarene. Her undergrad and masters are from Olivet Nazarene Univ. and my Ph.D in Education is from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL where she teaches Youth and Christian Ministry courses.
  10. She is the founder and lead farmer at Storyfarmers, a ministry that helps followers of Jesus remember and tell the God stories in their midst and dig into the best story ever told – the Bible !
